we need you to create change.
we together, are that change.
In this time of uncertainty we have a great opportunity to make a change and create a lasting impact. We can help each other.
Together we are a community. Together we can heal.
Healing ourselves, our relationship with our creator as well as the world around us.
Your support enables us to progress in the projects we are doing for all of us.
We are stewards of the farmland we are on regenerating soil, preserving seeds and plant varieties, propagating trees and local species for reforestation projects. Taking care of our volunteers and workers. Our prayer circles. The vegetarian food we make and share.
Your donation helps us cover ongoing costs and necessities on the farm.
We are grateful.

You are needed.
Support a family to have FREE cooking gas
Home Biogas for Community Members
The Issue: Propane Gas has doubled in cost for our community in this last year. Many people here make a few hundred dollars a month. Many homes are open to the environment, have dirt floors and lack electricity and even bathrooms inside the home. This cost effects people in a way most of us cannot comprehend.
Gas is an important tool that is used here to cook food. You can buy a single burner and have a can of gas. Many people I know do not own a full stove, there are no electric ovens here.
The Solution: Biogas enables a family to be able to produce their own cooking gas from compost or manure from their animals. It only takes a liter a day of agricultural waste to provide up to 2 hours cooking time. It is easy to make and easy to use. It is a great renewable resource and after the initial setup the community would have free cooking gas.
The Goal: We have a small scale biogas system we can create for the families in the community. We can create these affordable systems using locally sourced items (meaning stuff we can buy at the local stores) for about $300 a household.
We are asking people to donate and help provide a local family with an ongoing source of free cooking gas. When we reach funding for 10 families we will purchase the items needed to build biogas digester’s, build them and hold training workshops as well as bring them to the individual homes. Your donation will have a powerful and direct effect for a family.
Thank you for your support.

Please share - it is a donation to the cause as well.
We are looking forward to photographing and documenting the journey so you can share the experience with us. We need you.
With Love,
Sarah Sherman
